About Karole

Classically trained in Royal Academy of Dance and Ceccheti, Karole began performing in festivals at age 5. At age 7 she made her debut with the Calix Spanish Dance Company in Johannesburg. Karole went on to focus on Allianza style of pure Flamenco.

In 2002 she fell in love with the Oriental dance of the Middle East and her passion for Arabic culture began her journey in the study of Oriental Dance and Raqs Sharqi, with local & international dance stars & instructors. 



Now a professional performer, she is currently the resident dancer at Al Diwan Restaurant & Shisha Cafe' in Sea Point, Cape Town. Karole is also the founder of Studio Tarab Middle Eastern Dance, established 2012.
